Wake Radiology UNC REX brings together the knowledge of nearly 60 radiologists who perform more than 600,000 diagnostic and interventional procedures each year. Our radiologists combine compassion, care and advanced technologies with a commitment to obtaining the best images possible. All Wake Radiology physicians are individually board certified by the American Board of Radiology (ABR). In addition to their fellowship training, many radiologists hold a Certificate of Added Qualifications (CAQ) and all of our physicians voluntarily participate in the ABR Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program.
At Wake Radiology, each section has a dedicated team of sub-specialty trained physicians. This enables us to deliver more accurate interpretations in a timely manner and offer a full range of leading-edge studies to detect, diagnose and stage disease. Our radiologists offer subspecialty imaging expertise in women’s and breast, pediatric, orthopedic and sports, neuroradiology, body and emergency imaging well as interventional radiology. Plus, we offer a full line of screening studies to referring physicians and their patients.
